Cyber Struggle at CyberLehia 2026
Cyber Struggle at CyberLehia 2026

Developing cybersecurity talent requires more than theoretical knowledge. Real progress happens when students have the opportunity to work on challenges that closely resemble real-world scenarios. CyberLehia 2026 successfully created such an environment by bringing together young cybersecurity talents from across the Basque Country.
Cyber Struggle was pleased to participate in the event and host a stand, where we had the opportunity to engage with students, educators, and industry professionals throughout the day.

Strong Institutional Support
CyberLehia 2026 was supported by Tknika, Cyberzaintza (Basque Cybersecurity Agency), the Basque Government โ Department of Education, and FP Euskadi.
The event gathered cybersecurity students from vocational training centers across the region and provided them with a platform to demonstrate and develop their practical skills.
This yearโs competition involved around 350 students from 35 vocational training centers.

A Competition-based Event
During the competition, student teams were challenged with scenarios inspired by real cybersecurity incidents. Participants had to respond to both offensive and defensive tasks, simulating situations that cybersecurity professionals encounter in real environments.
Competitions like CyberLehia help students strengthen essential professional skills such as:
โข analytical thinking
โข problem solving
โข teamwork
โข rapid decision-making
These experiences allow students to better understand the realities of cybersecurity work.
Engaging with Future Professionals
At the Cyber Struggle stand, we had the opportunity to meet many motivated and curious students who were eager to learn more about the cybersecurity field.
Throughout the event we had valuable discussions about:
โข cybersecurity career paths
โข emerging threats and challenges
โข the work carried out by Cyber Struggle
โข opportunities within the cybersecurity ecosystem
The enthusiasm and interest shown by the students was truly inspiring.
Highlighting the Strategic Importance of Cybersecurity
The event also included institutional sessions featuring Basque Government Education Councillor Begoรฑa Pedrosa and Security Councillor Bingen Zupiria.
Both speakers emphasized the strategic importance of preparing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals in order to address the increasing challenges of the digital world.
Bridging Education and Industry
Events like CyberLehia play a crucial role in connecting educational institutions with the cybersecurity industry. They provide students with early exposure to real-world challenges while enabling organizations and companies to engage with emerging talent.
At Cyber Struggle, we are proud to be part of initiatives that help strengthen the cybersecurity ecosystem and support the development of future professionals.
We would like to thank the organizers and supporting institutions for hosting such a meaningful event, and we look forward to meeting many of these talented students again in the future.
